Therapy for Women Navigating Anxiety, Body Image, and Disordered Eating Patterns
Adolescence through adulthood

Virtual Services Offered throughout Florida, Michigan and Virginia

You Might Be Here Because…
  • Your mind rarely slows down, even when nothing is technically “wrong”
  • You feel pressure to keep everything together and avoid falling apart
  • Rest feels uncomfortable, unproductive, or undeserved
  • Anxiety shows up as overthinking, people-pleasing, or perfectionism
  • You struggle with boundaries or find yourself repeating the same relationship patterns
  • You feel disconnected from your body, emotions, or sense of self

You don’t need to be in crisis to seek therapy.

Many of the clients I work with appear capable and successful on the outside, while feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or emotionally exhausted on the inside.

Meet Erika

Hi, I’m Erika, Founder and Owner of Lifeway Counseling and Consulting, LLC.

I’m a Licensed Psychotherapist with over 11 years of clinical experience and licensed in three states, specializing in therapy for women from adolescence through adulthood as they navigate anxiety, emotional overwhelm, disordered eating, self-esteem issues and major life transitions.

I work with high-functioning women who may appear capable and put-together on the outside, yet feel internally exhausted, disconnected, or stuck in patterns related to perfectionism, body image concerns, control around food, and self-worth. My work is especially supportive for women seeking eating disorder therapy, disordered eating support, and anxiety therapy within a compassionate, trauma-informed approach.

I earned both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Florida International University and have clinical experience across a variety of settings. My early training focused on working with adolescent girls and women impacted by trauma, which shaped my passion for providing trauma-informed therapy for women navigating anxiety, perfectionism, attachment concerns, eating disorders, and reconnecting with their sense of self through different stages of life.

My approach

Therapy with me is not about surface-level coping skills or endless processing. I work collaboratively with clients to understand the root of their anxiety, patterns, and emotional responses, and help them make meaningful, sustainable change.

My work is interpersonal, relational, and grounded in evidence-based practices, with an emphasis on helping clients feel more regulated, connected, and confident in their daily lives.
