My Approach to Intensive Therapy

The ARC Framework

My work is grounded in the belief that meaningful healing involves more than simply understanding your patterns intellectually. Many of the women I work with are highly self-aware, thoughtful, and insightful, yet still find themselves feeling emotionally stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or caught in recurring cycles they cannot seem to break.

Intensives are designed to create the space needed for deeper therapeutic work that often feels difficult to access within the limitations of traditional weekly therapy.

My intensive model is guided by my own signature model, the ARC Framework:

Awareness

Together, we begin by identifying recurring emotional, behavioral, and relational patterns that may be contributing to distress, burnout, overthinking, or disconnection. This phase focuses on increasing self-awareness, emotional insight, and understanding the deeper roots of these patterns.

Regulation

Intensives incorporate grounding techniques, emotional processing, nervous system support, and coping strategies designed to help clients feel more emotionally regulated, supported, and connected to themselves throughout the process.

Connection

The final phase focuses on strengthening the relationship with yourself through boundaries, self-trust, emotional integration, body connection, and personalized action steps designed to support lasting change beyond the intensive experience.

Signature Therapy Intensives

Therapy Intensives are thoughtfully designed for women seeking a more focused, immersive, and personalized therapeutic experience than traditional weekly therapy. Intensives provide the opportunity to slow down, gain deeper insight into recurring patterns, and create meaningful momentum in a supportive and structured format.

Each intensive is tailored to your unique goals, experiences, and emotional needs using my signature ARC Framework: Awareness, Regulation, and Connection.

A Thoughtfully Curated Therapeutic Experience

Therapy Intensives are intentionally structured to feel supportive, emotionally safe, and clinically grounded rather than overwhelming or emotionally chaotic. Each intensive includes thoughtful pacing, scheduled breaks, grounding moments, and individualized support throughout the experience.

The goal is not simply to spend more hours in therapy, but to create a more focused and intentional space for deeper therapeutic work, insight, emotional processing, and meaningful progress.

Who Are Intensives For?

Therapy Intensives may be a good fit for individuals who:

• Feel stuck in recurring emotional or relational patterns
• Want deeper progress than traditional weekly therapy allows
• Are navigating anxiety, burnout, trauma, or life transitions
• Prefer a more focused and immersive therapeutic experience
• Are seeking meaningful insight, clarity, and sustainable change

Are Therapy Intensives Right for Everyone?

Therapy intensives are not appropriate for everyone or every stage of healing. Because intensive work can bring up deeper emotions and patterns, all clients participate in a consultation and screening process to help determine whether this format is clinically appropriate and supportive for their current needs. In some cases, ongoing weekly therapy, additional stabilization, or a higher level of care may be recommended instead, particularly for individuals experiencing active crisis situations, severe emotional instability, unmanaged substance use concerns, psychosis, severe dissociation, or active eating disorder behaviors requiring more specialized support.

Extended Therapy Sessions / Mini Intensives

Extended Therapy Sessions are designed for clients who would benefit from additional space beyond a traditional therapy session. These 90-minute sessions allow for deeper exploration, emotional processing, and integration in a more intentional and focused format, and may also be scheduled in extended 3-hour blocks or longer intensive formats as clinically appropriate and needed.

These sessions can be helpful during emotionally overwhelming seasons, relationship challenges, life transitions, attachment-related struggles, burnout, heightened anxiety, or periods where you may feel stuck in recurring patterns and need more time and support to process thoroughly.

Extended sessions may be scheduled as needed, as a stand alone session or incorporated periodically into ongoing therapy for clients seeking deeper, more immersive work.

Extended Sessions May Be Helpful If You:

  • Feel like 50-minute sessions often feel rushed or fragmented
  • Want more time to process emotions and patterns in depth
  • Are navigating a difficult relationship or breakup
  • Feel emotionally overwhelmed, exhausted, or stuck
  • Want focused support around anxiety, attachment, perfectionism, or self-worth
  • Benefit from slower pacing and additional space for reflection and integration
